John Piper and the Golden Calf of C.S. Lewis
May 16, 2013 03:07 PM PDT
John Piper's Desiring God National Conference 2013 will exalt C.S. Lewis with the title of this year's conference being: 'The Romantic Rationalist: God, Life, and Imagination in the Work of C.S. Lewis'. Is this more of the same from John Piper, as he has in recent years invited people like Rick Warren and Mark Driscoll; but does this represent something even worse? Paul discusses this and looks at the teaching and theology of C.S. Lewis. Was the theology of C.S. Lewis orthodox or heretical and outside of the faith once delivered? If his views were heretical, why are so many evangelicals worshipping this golden calf in the modern church? Are Images of Jesus Christ Forbidden in the Bible?

Paul will be discussing if Christians should ever use any representation or similitude of the Godhead? Why can such a practice, which is commonplace today, be such a danger to true worship? Why has it become popular? Are there double-standards within the church as we condemn Roman Catholic idolatry but freely practice it in the Evangelical Church? Paul will discuss these and other related issues.
"For in him [Christ] dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
"In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature"
"All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him." --Luke 10:22 "To whom our fathers would not obey, but thrust him from them, and in their hearts turned back again into Egypt, Saying unto Aaron, Make us gods to go before us: for as for this Moses, which brought us out of the land of Egypt, we wot not what is become of him. And they made a calf in those days, and offered sacrifice unto the idol, and rejoiced in the works of their own hands. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven" --Acts 7:39-42 Alfred Kinsey, The Sexual Revolution and the Same-Sex 'Marraige' Debate
April 24, 2013 04:03 PM PDT
Paul discusses the latest news about how France has become the 14th country to legalise Gay 'marriage' and the serious consequences on nation states who adopt these policies. How does God judge nations who call evil good and good evil? What should the Christian church do? What is the proper Biblical role of government? Who was Alfred Kinsey and how does his 'research' connect to the modern push for same-sex 'marriage'? Paul discusses these issues and other related topics.
"Be wise now therefore, O ye kings: be instructed, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him." --Psalm 2:10-12

Paul looks at the adulation heaped upon the latest leader at the First Baptist Church of Hammond, Indiana. Was there any reproof for the disgraced institution that is a blight to Christ's church? Will any in this 'old boys club' have the moral fortitude to turn their backs on the god of numbers and peer adulation, as yet another abuse case is linked to the institution. "Many pastors have destroyed my vineyard, they have trodden my portion under foot, they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness."
"No church did more to turn God’s houses across the land into cheap, carnal circuses than First Baptist Church of Hammond through the influence of its books, college, and annual Pastors Schools."
The Failures and Crimes of Modern Evangelism
April 03, 2013 04:08 PM PDT
Paul discusses many of the weeds in the gospel presentation of today and looks at many of the thorns that choke the Word of God in the modern church. "And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit...And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, and it becometh unfruitful."

Paul discusses early church history and asks from the pages of history, and those of the Bible, who really was the first pope? Can a pope be found in the Bible? The answers to these questions may surprise you. The New Jesuit Pope and the Moral Filth of the Vatican
March 13, 2013 04:34 PM PDT
Paul discusses the homosexual scandals that have surrounded the Vatican as of late, and also the election of the first Jesuit as pope in history. "The General of the Jesuits, the 'Black Pope', is the real and only Pope. The one who bears the title is but a figurehead. It is the Jesuits' policy he pursues, their voice that speaks through him, their hand that guides him."
"And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters: With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication. So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication: And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth. And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration."

Paul discusses the support given for the so-called "prophecies" of Malachy, the book of Enoch, 2012 theories, and other spurious works, among many professing Christians. He also looks at the Biblical reasons for, and the appropriate responses that any believer should give to, anything that diminishes from God's Glory. "I am God, and there is none like me"
February 13, 2013 03:57 PM PST
Paul discusses the latest news permeating from Rome, declaring that Benedict XVI is resigning (the first Roman pontiff in 600 years to do so), as the media from all over the world flock to the woman on seven hills. Why should believers in Sola Scriptura be concerned with the treatment of the so-called prophecy of Roman Catholic “saint” Malachy, dealing with the last pope? What damage can be done, intentionally or unintentionally, to the faith once delivered unto the saints by giving it any credibility? Paul looks at these issues, and others, as many in modern Protestantism leave the door open to spurious prophecy of an unknown origin. The Church Has Abandoned the Narrow Way
February 07, 2013 02:50 PM PST
Paul discusses the new movie in the works for Megiddo Films, which will be a sequel to "Of Chaos and Confusion: The Modern Church" and will deal with the corruption of gospel preaching in modern times. Also discussed here is how the narrow way described by Matthew 7:14, has been largely abandoned by most churches, and how it has left the wide road to destruction for many professors of the Christian faith.
"I want you to know, my friends, salvation is by faith alone. It is a work of God. It is a grace upon grace upon grace. But the evidence of conversion is not just your examination of your sincerity at the moment of your conversion. It is the ongoing fruit in your life."

Are there parallels between what is called the "church" today and the New Age Movement? Do claims made by the Charismatic movement come from the New Age Movement and the occult? Why do the claims made by modern Christians sound like claims made by occultists such as Alice Ann Bailey? How does the church depart from the man-centred gospel of today and return to the God-centred gospel preached by men of faith throughout history?

Is there a Catholic influence in the latest Sherwood Pictures film? And if so, what does this mean for the future of this film ministry? Paul discusses these and other issues as he reviews the film 'Courageous'. ------------------------

Paul discusses how that the old paths of the Word of God will never be passed on effectively, generation to generation, if the Church does not enable and empower, by sound teaching, that great seminary of the minds of the future, the home or the family. It is also discussed how the role of the family has been diminished by the church and state alike. "We must give up the vain idea of trying to please everybody. That is impossible, and the attempt is a mere waste of time. We must be content to walk in Christ's steps, and let the world say what it likes."
"In many areas of theology, there has been a stirring in the hearts of men to subject their beliefs and practices to the tenant of sola scriptura. However, the question still remains as to whether or not we will subject our view of the church and the family to this same principle. Any hope for a genuine reformation in our time will die in its infancy if we do not allow the Scriptures to permeate and govern every aspect of our lives."
"A family is the seminary of Church and State; and if children be not well principled there, all miscarrieth: a fault in the first concoction is not mended in the second; if youth be bred ill in the family, they prove ill in Church and Commonwealth; there is the first making or marring, and the presage of their future lives to be thence taken, Prov. 20:11. By family discipline, officers are trained up for the Church, 1 Tim. 3:4, One that ruleth well his own house, etc.; and there are men bred up in subjection and obedience. It is noted, Acts 21:5, that the disciples brought Paul on his way with their wives and children; their children probably are mentioned, to intimate, that their parents would, by their own example and affectionate farewell to Paul, breed them up in a way of reverence and respect to the pastors of the Church."
"The head of the family is to take care that none of the family withdraw himself from any part of family-worship: and, seeing the ordinary performance of all the parts of family-worship belongs properly to the head of the family, the minister is to stir up such as are lazy, and train up such as are weak, to a fitness to these exercises..."

Paul details why he believes the Jesuits are at the apex of most of the so-called “New World Order” activity of today and he details why Rome’s Counter-Reformation never ended. He also looks at the Bavarian Order of the Illuminati, which began life in 1776. This Order or shadowy group, according to some researchers, began a conspiracy against the Catholic Church. Are these researchers correct? And if they are how does this affect modern research? “Jesuitism has poisoned the wellsprings of truth in the whole world.” --Thomas Carlyle, British historian (1795-1881) "The Jesuits, who arrogated to themselves the title of "Companions of Jesus," and whose watchword was saintliness, were branded by their co-religionists as perjurers and murderers, and driven forth as unfit for civilised society. By their passion for domination and their moral laxity and double dealing, the Jesuits had incurred the wrath of Roman Catholics as well as Protestants; but one element which specially marked them out for the enmity, alike of monarchs and people, was their contempt for the principle of nationality. Of patriotism the Jesuits knew nothing, and national sentiment they despised, and this to at a time when in Europe, as the result of the break up of the holy Roman Empire, nation-making had made rapid progress."
"I feel more and more every day that it is not against the Americans of the South, alone, I am fighting, it is more against the pope of Rome, his perfidious Jesuits and their blind and bloodthirsty slaves. As long as they hope to conquer the North, they will spare me; but the day we route their armies, take their cities and force them to submit, then, it is my impression that the Jesuits, who are the principal rulers of the South, will do what they have almost invariably done in the past. The dagger or the pistol will do what the strong hands of the warriors could not achieve. This civil war seems to be nothing but a political affair to those who do not see, as I do, the secret springs of that terrible drama. But it is more a religious than a civil war. It is Rome who wants to rule and degrade the North, as she has ruled and degraded the South, from the very day of its discovery. There are only very few of the Southern leaders who are not more or less under the influence of the Jesuits through their wives, family relations, and their friends."
"Romanism is beginning to uncover its hand in America. It begins to be fearless, now that it is becoming natural. It is attempting to do here what it has achieved in Europe, to awe the state, control the people, and banish liberty."

"Rupert Murdoch’s News Corporation is just like the Jesuits, he told a mostly-full Gaston Hall yesterday, “except we don’t insist on vows of poverty or chastity.”"
Paul discusses Fox News and its owner, the papal puppet, Rupert Murdoch. Note: An error has come to my attention from this show. 2011 was not the first visit to the UK made by this current pope and there have been previous visits made by the papacy that date back to 1982. Apologies for any confusion caused. Show Notes:
